Shipping Costs, Transit Times, and Order Status
Shipping times vary depending on location, but our average delivery time is 3-4 days. All orders are shipped from our Fulfillment Center in Canada, so you will not have to worry about custom fees or international taxes!
Please note that any orders ship all at once. If your order contains a pre-ordered item, the entire order will wait to ship until the pre-ordered item is in stock.
Our Canadian web store currently only ships to addresses in Canada. To ship internationally, simply select the flag (in the top right corner of the site) of the country in which you wish to place an order.
If your country does not have a dedicated store on our website, select the US store, which will ship just about anywhere in the world. Shipping times and fees may vary. International shipping can typically take anywhere from 7-21 business days.

Estimated shipping fees will be calculated at checkout before purchase. Some countries may require customs/collection fees. These are out of our control. Please check with your local customs agency before placing your order to get an estimate of the taxes and fees that may apply.
If you purchased a pre-order or back-order item, there will be an estimated shipping time under the product listing as well as on your confirmation email.

If you’re just looking for a status update:
Hit the chat icon below, and click "Track An Order". From there, you can enter your email and order number to get the latest update from the carrier if your order has been shipped.
If the carrier hasn’t updated your tracking, sometimes it’s just because the tracking scans are delayed. Carriers do not scan packages when they're collected from our warehouse, but only once they get to the first distribution center. Often shipments will suddenly resurface in transit, out for delivery, or even delivered.
If your order is STILL in transit (for more than 30 days of not moving):
Because tracking scan delays have become more frequent since COVID began, our fulfillment center has required we wait 30 days without a tracking update before we are able to file a ‘lost in transit’ claim. Thankfully, this is because packages often resurface.
If your order has gone 30 or more days without a tracking update, please reach out to us at ca.support@theadventurechallenge.com with your order number. We'd be happy to help get a claim filed and a replacement order shipped. Lost orders are the worst. We won’t leave you hanging.
If your order is marked as delivered but you didn't receive it:
Don't panic! This happens more than you'd expect, for a handful of reasons. Here are a few things you can check:
Delivery scans often update before the package actually arrives at the final destination. We ask that you allow 2-3 days for it to arrive late.
It could be worth checking with your neighbours to see if it was mis-delivered.
We also suggest that you check your confirmation email to confirm that the address entered at checkout is correct.
And lastly, it's also worth reaching out to your local post office (or whomever shipped your order) as they would have the most recent update on your shipment.
Nonetheless, if your order does not arrive within 2-3 days and you have no luck with your neighbors, please reach out to our support team at ca.support@theadventurechallenge.com. We’d love to lend a hand.

Product Information
All of our products are created to encourage a lifestyle of adventure - to explore outside of your habits, dive deeper into your relationships, and create meaningful memories.
Each product comes with our signature scratch-off film that will reveal the adventure, date, or challenge to do with your friends, family, or loved ones. Use the included plastic scratchers to reveal the activity of your choice.
There are icons next to each activity that will give you some indication of preparations you’ll need to make before completing the activity (location, price, etc.).
Our classic editions also come with a ‘sticky strip’ to attach your polaroid picture and a blank space to write down a brief summary of your new memory.
For instructions on how to use the L’omo Instant Polaroid camera, please refer to the product user manual.
Our Adventure Challenge books are not country/region-specific, but because we are a US-based company, you’ll definitely see some American culture in the challenges. The main discrepancies you’ll see are the general cost per challenge reflected in USD and references to some American history, movies, and/or games. All are referenceable on the internet. Some challenges do call for a general location, such as a market or a body of water, but you can always adjust the challenge to your needs or liking. Feel free to get creative with how you complete your challenges.
We’d love to create a book specifically for each country, but that may take a few more years. In the meantime, we do think our American version can still provide loads of adventure inspiration to you, no matter where you are in the world.

At this time, we are only able to offer an English version of the book. We are hoping to work with translators in the near future to expand our product offerings to people who are hungry for fun and connection in another language.
No, you don’t. All of the challenges fall into different categories. Feel free to choose a date based on how you feel in the moment!
We have placed icons beside each challenge so that you can plan and prepare for the adventure ahead. Any challenge with the ‘baby’ icon indicates childcare will be needed.
The Couples, Solo, Friends, and Family Editions are completely gender-neutral, so no matter what type of relationships you have, you can enjoy these editions without modifying the pronouns.
The ...In Bed Edition is great for all types of couples. While there may be the occasional use of a gendered word, there are no challenges that are limited by them. Our heart is allyship and education. With the growth of our company, we are diversifying our social content and advertising to better represent people and cultures across the world!
We include small plastic scratchers in every box.
Lost them? To reveal your challenge, we'd suggest using your fingernail or something with a smooth but firm plastic edge (such as a credit/debit card or guitar pick).
We've noticed coins can damage the scratch-off material. Make sure to scratch slowly and lightly at first.
We believe that adventure is not based on our abilities, but limited only by our imagination. That said, your safety should be the highest priority. All of our challenges can be easily modified to suit your needs, but are not worth putting yourself in unnecessary danger. There are definitely some that anyone can do, and a handful of others that will require a little creativity.
Returns & Refunds
We want you to be pumped about your new purchase. However, if you need to return any item(s), we’re here to help!
To be eligible for a return, you need to reach out within 30 days of your delivery date!
Please note, we are unable to accept a return on a used product. So if a challenge has been scratched, a perforation has been torn, it has been written in, etc. and is not in resalable condition, we are unable to accept returns on the product.
If plastic wrap is no longer in tact, but the product has not been used, we are able to accept returns on the product!
*Please note: At this time, we are unable to process returns from countries outside of Canada.
*Because the Advent(ure) Calendar is a special, holiday product, if it has been used or is not in its original condition we are unable to accept returns.
*Gift Cards are Final Sale and cannot be refunded once the order has been processed.
Once we receive your order, your return will be processed, minus the original shipping cost.

If you’d rather just get a refund for the defective item, initiate a return and your refund will be processed back to the original method of payment.
